We are setting a new standard in sustainable event support and promotions  by providing premium 100% recycled 3-ply custom cocktail napkins made from FSC Recycled certified paper produced from sustainably sourced reclaimed fiber, that are biodegradable and compostable with no chlorine content.  Our product range also includes personalized custom 3-ply luncheon, dinner, and guest towel-sized napkins made from recycled content. To keep your event clean and tidy, we offer custom pulpboard coasters that are recyclable and compostable to share your message, brand, or promotion.

Environmentally responsible recycled paper production

B.E. Green® Napkins is part of a family-owned group of companies, which also includes our recycled paper mill source with 119 years of experience in the paper manufacturing industry. Additionally, our paper mill utilizes premium, sustainably reclaimed paper fiber, which would otherwise end up in a landfill, to produce FSC Recycled certified paper. Our premium 100% recycled custom beverage napkins are crafted from our own reclaimed recycled materials, setting a new standard in sustainability.

Sustainable manufacturing process

Unlike conventional printed napkins that often use less eco-friendly production methods, this product is manufactured, printed, and shipped in our own sister recycled paper mill. All paper manufacturing and cocktail napkin production, digital printing and shipping is done under one roof, supporting our dedication to sustainability and a low carbon footprint. This eliminates the negative environmental impact related to over-the-road transportation of master paper rolls to the converting location. and ensures minimal environmental impact throughout the entire production process.

Environmentally responsible digital print production

Our cutting-edge digital printing uses only eco-friendly water-fast and fade resistant water-based pigment inks developed for indirect food contact applications, with no water, solvents, or harsh chemicals required. This ensures safety for both consumers and our environment while providing the most vivid and finely detailed custom print available.

Recycled paper vs. virgin fiber or cloth napkins​: A better choice for the environment

In today’s eco-conscious consumer-focused world, many businesses, organizations, and individuals have access to a plethora of information on the environmental impact of our choices, and the latest eco-friendly products, services, and practices. From the clothes we wear to the food we eat, and even the paper napkins restaurants or events provide, business operations are turning towards more sustainable practices to meet consumer demand. When it comes to paper versus cloth napkins, it may surprise you to learn that paper napkins are actually the better choice for the environment.

Less Resource-Intensive Production

Most disposable napkins are made of the fiber from trees​, or virgin wood pulp. Although is a renewable resource, it is not the best choice for sustainability as it lacks recycled fiber content, and uses a significantly higher amount of other resources such as energy and water to make it. Each ton of virgin fiber paper requires approximately twenty four large trees or two tons of wood.  We recycle approximately 1.1 tons of reclaimed paper to produce each ton of our recycled paper. 

Cloth napkins require more energy and water to clean.​

Washing and drying cloth napkins use significant energy and water and discharge detergents into wastewater systems.

Biodegradability

Recycled paper napkins decompose quickly, enriching the soil rather than taking up landfill space. Paper napkins made of recycled fiber are biodegradable and compostable. Given the proper conditions, it takes only one to six months for a recycled paper napkin to decompose to enrich the soil rather than take up valuable landfill space.

Cloth napkins often contain harmful chemicals.​

Many cloth napkins are treated with chemicals such as formaldehyde to make them wrinkle-free. These chemicals can be released into the air when the napkins are used and can be harmful to your health.

Paper napkins are more affordable.​

Paper napkins are usually much more cost effective than cloth napkins.
